SH3202

Surface-active contaminants of the test liquids can strongly falsify your contact angle measurements with the Liquid Needle. Extend the traceability of your quality processes and check the purity of water and diiodomethane by surface tension (SFT). With the novel, accurate Constrained Sessile Drop method and the SH3201 sample pedestal adapter, a single drop is sufficient for this purpose.

The adapter is plugged into the dosing outlet of the Liquid Needle in a single step without any further modification. For the measurement, drops as large as possible are dispensed onto two sample pedestals and analyzed. If the quickly available results of the SFT are close to the literature values, you are on the safe side for the subsequent contact angle measurements.

The SH3202 comes with 10 sample pedestals (can be reordered as SH3200) and tweezers for easy and contamination-free placement.
